2007 Application status

I'm also in same boat , my e Cas showing
We started processing your application on February 28, 2007.
It's updated on 12/06/2012 but they not sending me any request for updated document

guys don't waste your money in ordering caips. since pre Feb 2008 files are already closed its no point in ordering caips as they are just making money out from us. it will only say Operational Bulletin 442 have terminated your file.. so simple for them

I think this is due the current legal case between ligitants and CIC.

Requested : What about my file status is it suspented or processing will be continued ?

this is email i got from CHC.

Your file has arrived from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore office. It is in the Paper Screening Stage. It will be grouped together with other files that were applied in the same period .Please wait to receive further instructions/info from this office.

My question is what is -It will be grouped together with other files that were applied in the same period ?/
will it be grouped together with 2007 files or it will be grouped with when singapore office received my file from kuala lumpur i.e jan 2012?
or my file will be suspended due to backlog pre 2008 case?


my time line below .thanx

simplified process
category - IT
applied - aug 2007
letter with file number - sep 2007
online status - in process since oct 2007
1st letter - aug 2009( if intrested n no refund after this) (online shows in process)
2nd letter - sep 2011 (documents requested )(online shows in process)
documents submitted (deadline was dec 2011)- doc submitted on nov 2011(online shows in process)

Emailed to visa section directly n they were really fast n good to reply back the next day.

I applied in 2007 through simplified application process but not yet receive any request from SVO. If anyone has any update please share. I only sent my IELTS score to SVO. My Current status is in Process.

how did you know they have modified your status in their web page? i just applied for CAIPS last week.

not yet, iam suppose to get my CAIPS this coming Aug15. by the way, did you join the class action lawsuit for pre-2008?
