This is my first post in this forum, and because it was of a great help for me i will post here my immigration story board:

My application was first submitted and accepted in July 2005
In October 2009 Warsaw office contacted me to update my documents and it where sent in December 2009
In July 2010 I received my medical examination forms and the test was taken and sent on September
In 1st of April 2011 i had received a request for my passport alongside the following documents:
1. Updated Family information if any.
2. Two photos for each member
3. Proof of sufficient funds


I hope this information will be helpful in your tracking for your application status

Thanks for sharing these information..
I just wanna know, did they confirm receiving the medical test...?
I sent the medical test on 13/12/2010. and up to now, i havent received any email or letter from them. so Is it normal, or shall i send them any email?
Your help is highly appreciated it.

As for the medical tests they didn't notify me with it's delivery
But two months after the doctor send it I contacted them to confirm that they had received it or not and they replied within 4 days confirming that they had received it and they get back to me with the final decision within the coming 6 months

It will be good to send them email just to confirm that they had received the documents but make it simple and straight to the point

acually i sent them 2 months ago an email to inform them that i have new passport.. and i sent a copy of the new passport by email..
and i asked them if they need a hard copy,, but they didnt even sent a single email or any confirmation..
so do u think it is also it will be better to send them a hard copy of my new passport.

Don't send them anything with attachment as it will be filtered as spam
They don't allow to open any email with attachment for security reasons

Dear Le Emporer
Send then an email without any attachment to ask about the status or your documents and as for new passport at the time they will accept you they will ask for the updates (it is worth mentioning that u had issued a new passport in the email and to ask about what to do).

Hi everybody,
My assumption about receiving meds was February, now i feel that i was so naive to think like that.
I have some friends who know that I applied for immigration, when they ask me about my case and how long it takes to get there,
My answer is "between 9 to 18 months".
You know what the problem is? They asked me the very same question ONE YEAR AGO and my answer was the same. They asked me this year and my answer was that again, and they will ask me next year my answer would be the same.
We are stuck in the middle of a process which seems endless.
I don't know to be angry, exhausted or ridiculed.
I feel nothing ...

@ Youskal once you u asked me "when do u think we can have our meds", now I ask you the very same question.
P.S: I know that you don't have any solid answer, I just want to fill the silence.

@ali the same thing happened to me, all my friends and family ask me "what happened with you and canada", year after year same question from same or different ppl, and I tell them, that it might require 1 more year......1 more year, 1 more year, 1 more year and 5 years passed.

This is really illogical, who would want to go after all this period of waiting, and so many things changing, and that's a whole new debate.

We should seek compensation, my 2009 applicants friends are there and I'm still here, my barber and close friend applied in 2009, he just came back from edmonton after landing one month ago in canada (his wife principal applicant of a job in the list of occupations).

As for my expectations, in a pretty much early post I said if we didn't hear from them in March, then we shouldn't expect anything before june/july.

I know its not gonna do anything, as I will receive the same reply as the others got, but I'm gonna send them a case specific inquiry to ask about the medicals next week.

Be fair please, know what? when we received the aknowledge letter from damascus telling us the file number, we were advised that we wouldn't be finished less than 62 to 68 months right? so what's happened that we have been so disappointed? I intensively agree with unfair new rule and new applicants and have always called it a cruel system, but regarding our procedure nothing has changed but giving us hope by asking for ubdated documents. imagine if they wanted to go ahead exactly accoring to their word that we wouldn't be informed until 4 months befor processing we were still waiting for ubdate even more strongly we didn't care about it by next year.
