I already called them several times .they are so careless ,rude & non-cooperative at all .Actually after booking on that flight I felt really regretful :(. Later , my friends advised me with the Turkish airlines as it allowed more luggage and very cooperative. for me it is too late to change now .I have to fly next week .

Usually, European airlines allow one baggage of 23 Kg only. You can review your reservation online on their website. I am sure it will show you the baggage allowance. Worse case solution, european airlines charge 100 USD per any additional baggage. This will be paid at airport.

Dear All!

After the embassy request your passport, do they ask for landing fees after that just before they release the passport?

Thank you

hey i did also my landing ont he 12th of october. wer going to be back to beirut this week to prepare from there the final move. my husband and i are architects and we did some research and asked around and we actually asked couple of canadian architects regarding work.. its all about demand. if there is demand, they are open to everyone and they dnt care much about about Canadian experience as much as they care about your skills and what skills you have to offer. i suggest that you work on that and hopefully you will find smthg.

thanks alnec it is good to keep in touch after landing ,

Thanks for your reply . well being in the teaching field I need to get a certification for teaching english as a second language it is called here TESL or TESOL & there is TESL canada & TESL Ontario. It is a bit confusing .Anyways I had to go through this long program .what make things harder for me is that certain recognized universities offer this program and it costs alot .Also I had to go to other town where I can take the course . actually I feel fed up with taking courses cuz I keep piling up ceritficates. I guess finding a job here is not easy at all.By the way did u get your PR cuz iam still waiting for it .Bye for now and lets keep in touch ;)

things r not easy at all
the atmosphere is very competitive, the doors r locked, but u have to struggle & once u get a job i think the good part of immigration will come
i did my landing & went back to my homeland to finish my contract & to prepare the final move
wish all the best of luck

hey..well to tell you the truth i loathed the suburbia.. my god it looks like movies no man's land.. but between what you suggested i recommend north york cse its almost the closest to downtown toronto. Missisauga have some cool condos buildings but its far from downtown..

Hi dear all,
Hope u are doing fine .I got my PR almost after one month and a half . My Goodness, life here is sooooo different from Europe or the middle East .I already miss my mother and sister .I have not been to Toronto yet and I do not know what towns are best to settle in .All I know it is freezing cold in here no matter how heavy clothes u wear. Do keep in touch ;)

i am now working in Saudi Arabia and at the same time working on my exams for registration as a doctor in Canada which seems a very lengthy and complicated process!! i will return to Canada on June 2014 for few weeks to appear for exams & i think after that i will return to Saudi Arabia again for a year or so & then i will move to Canada permanently.
