@All: BFDate always marks the the date of the next process/update, this is why I asked CS5 for his BFDATE, as you can see, its 6th of Feb, which means that according to the process, Med's should have been dispatched by then, and after like 4 to 6 weeks CS5 should have received them (back in march or in April the most), today April is closing and May is coming, no Med's in the horizon, which means:

1- we were right when we expected Med's in Feb or March in earlier posts.
2- we were right when we said that CIC are pausing the process, waiting for something, the question is, what is this something? and when will they release the meds??????

Anyone please comment.

As I read through the forum the same thing has happened in London office. After June 26 2010 and its new job list, the new instruction has been issued and according to that we are ON HOLD in favor of post June 26 applicants.
This hold is for people who are waiting for meds and updates. For those who got their medical instruction they are good to go.
Now you may ask why people who got their medical are Okay? The answer is money. If the CIC doesn't issue visa for those applicants they have to do the medicals test again and the CIC has to process their test results again and it will add to their expenses.
My only hope is that June is near, and the minister may issue new instruction to make our situation clear, otherwise we have to wait for ever.

PS: I don't have any proof for what I've just said. Yet this is the only logical explanation for what is happening to us.

this was the answer to inquiry of an Indian applicant form CHC london.
Federal skills works quota for CHC london is 17500 visas, and for CHC warsaw it is something around 2200.
now do the math.

Guys if you have relative in Canada, tell them your situation and ask them to go to their parliament representatives. it might create some pressure on Canadian government to revise their new instruction which is against their previous promises to clear out backlogs.

Dear ali I never wanted to worry you guys . I just saw that in an iranian forum, you know someting as you said this is in response to an indian applicant who is 2007 one so, it may be an answer to a 2007 applicant not those who got the updated letter. I have no idea really mixed up

I agree with armintaba, we shouldn't expect to see any progress with in 2 years.
If they don't change their policy this would be our situation. As I said before those who have got their medical are OK, they should expect to receive PPR within the validity period of medical tests.

Hi Youskal,

It seems that the NDP (New Democratic Party) and the Liberals Party are in favor to increase the number of immigrants to Canada. NDP in specific, are in favor to reduce the backlog. Liberals Party wants more skilled workers. It is the Conservatives party that is holding us. (this is what I concluded from the below link).

Yesterday, a friend of a friend of mine ,who is currently living in Canada, told me that the conservatives are facing a hard time in the elections due to a corruption scandal of the PM. Elections ends by the end of the first week of May.
