Need to know how much points i will get from Education.

10+2 = Full time after that

2 year Diploma in Pharmacy = Fulltime

3 year Bachelor in Computer Application = distance mode from IGNOU , New Delhi

2 year Master in Business Administration = Distance mode from ICFAI University .Dehradun.

My both the Distance university is UGC Approved

building on the information provided by our fellows in this thread
I think to receive Medicals it takes around two months from the date of sending last document

Dam2006 already sent docs sep 23-it took them 10 days to ask for missing docs (pls update us if any thing new)

Yadamas :his friend told him that the time between update Req AND medical exam Req is 5 months
Pls update if any thing new

UL: Aug 2009
Updates sent: Oct 2009
Police clearance sent: Aug 2010
Medicals recieved: 12/10/2010(two months after sending the missing doc

A very technical question,

we have elementary for 5 years then guidance school for 3 years in Iran, so should I write 8 years for elementary school in the form? because there no more items for later one

Dam2006 last time regarding UL ur expectations were approximatelly right, what do you think about Medicals?

@mayankpanda if the distance learning approved by CHC, then you should get at least 22 points, but we need a subject expert opinion regarding this, sicne distant learning is involved.

@armintaba CAP does not apply to us, however I just mentioned it out of comparison matters.

Regarding education, don't you have high school after "guidance school"? (here we call it middle school). (elementary--middle, secondary/high school)

Youskal, i think it should be between 4 to 6 months from the date of the update letter. for me the update request was received 10th of Aug

yes the high school is after guidance school straight away, but what do I have to write in schedule 1 second page in education part in the box of elemetary one ? the sum of both elementary and guidance school? because as you know the whole should be 17 years for me with master's degree. for example, you have the middle school right? what have you written for elementary ? sum of elementary and middle school or only the elementary school?

@armintaba: write the total (elementary+Guidance), so that the sum of remaining boxes is 17.

Military service

One of the requirements of the update letter is:


A certified copy of all pages of your Military Service book or Military Service Certificate

Since we didnt have military service in Jordan at my time..

Is it enough to write a cover letter explaing that ??

I ll appreciate responses from people with similar experiences...

Dear theone it is not enough to write covering letter the CIC office are very strict regarding Army service and police certificates for security reasons
you should translate all pages of your millitary service book and all pages showing
Secondary school postponement
postponement for students at universities of no more than 4 years of study
Postponements because of no capacity

If you are 40 years old and more
you can get a letter from Ta3bia(Branch/office of recruiting and Mobilization Governate /District )
that you are considered by law postponed untill the age of 40 )

this letter also should be sent togother with the army service book

you can answer the question about army service by saying

No compulasry army service in Jordan since 1994 -after signing peace agreament
