2006 DAMASCUS APPLICANTS

Hi to all
I m new in this thread but an old applicant
iv applied on Feb 2006 my file transferred to Warsaw on April 2010
i have read this thread carefully especialy youskal who is expert in immigration issues
i have a lot of question about 2006 application!
first of all what about the time between transfering and update letrrer?
i already sent Fench PCC (coz i lived there for 11 m0nths) and Syrian PCC. without asking me to do that i sent to Warsaw by E-mail. they reply that the original document is requiered ! than they repy that they will in contact with me in about 6 months time
did they accept the documents i have sent ? or i have to wait a while till to ask me to prpare all documents

First of all, welcome to this forum.
I'm not an old applicant, but my understanding based on what you've explained is that they didn't accept the PCC's as they will ask for the original PCCs to be posted to them. Apparently, as they told you, they will ask for it within 6 month time.

yadamas welcome, as mbastudies said, and as CHC said, PCC should be original, and then they replied that they will contact you within the next six months, this is generic, they might contact you next week, next month, or maybe abit later, they are just telling you to wait for their update letter to send them the PCC along with a whole list of documents and refill of forms all over again.....
BUT HOW MUCH TO WAIT, and did anyone else in 2006 received the update letter like ALI?

You are a JAN 2006 applicant, so you are the first to hear as you said earlier, and you told me once that you can almost smell it, your nose did not deceive you my friend.

and what about your status ? did it changed? did they wrote anything new on it ?

Hope all of us hear good news asap. I have question if any one can answer me please:
We have lived in Canada for several years but I didn't send any police certificate from there. Do you think we need such a thing from there?
By the way would someone please tell me how to make a signature with my time line.

As youskal said I am Jan 2006 applicant, so I'm on the first line, but it doesn't mean if your are for example September 2006 applicant you have to wait nine months. They must have divided the whole 2006 batch to 4 groups or some thing like that, and ask each group about the updates almost on same time.
So I think you would hear from them pretty soon. (for worse case scenario as I previously said within four months)
About the update letter I have received it through e-mail. I read in some where if you have an inquiry about your case though e-mail, I will automatically authorize the visa office to contact you through e-mail which in my opinion is much more convenient than conventional e-mail, because in the way you don't lose any time.

Congradulations Ali, very good news to everyone eventually. I have been realy busy recently sorry for not responding to the posts here as i used to. I would like to ask a question about the police certificate that we should provide is it including our country or only the countries we visited and stayed in for more than 6 months continuiously?
