2 years course got 1 year visa ?why this so ?

the course which i applied is a two year co -program course from lambton college Toronto . my course were mobile application and development https://www.lambton.on.ca/MBCT/ , but in got TRV for only one year . why this so ? and is there any problem because my counselor told me that its auto extends in next year d'nt worry about them . .

Because you will study for one year ( you got study visa for one year), once you will be done your study you will have to apply for coop work permit to start your CO-OP...

Because TRV Issued according to the your passport expiry date but study permit according to YOUR courses. Once you will have renewed your passport your TRV GETS EXTENDED.

Are you sure it is your TRV that is just for one year and not your study permit? Because if it is your study permit, then it should be just one year as your program is just two terms of study and two other terms of co-op for which you'll need to apply for a co-op work permit when you finish your two terms of actual studies.
