Hi there,
Just really want to see if this is normal or if anyone else is on the same page. Our originally visa office was Buffalo but they've closed that so I was not sure what post to put this on.
I applied to sponsor my spouse (us citizen) via outland application back in September 2011. I was approved as a sponsor in Nov 2011 and the application was sent to Buffalo, our visa office at the time. (I should note that police checks and medicals were all done and submitted with the application or just before so there would be no delay for those) We then received notice they they wanted further information from us in Feb of 2012 which we sent right away. Then Buffalo closed down.... and it was sent to Ottawa. From there, we emailed and was told it's being worked on.
Then in January we emailed again and this time it was forwarded to LA. I guess our application is now there. And we're still waiting!
Will the approval come from LA?
Anyone else waiting this long? Every irritating and extremely disheartening at home to keep waiting.
Thanks.
