Hi everyone,

I don't live in Quebec, so do I answer this question with a no, or just leave it unanswered?

Thanks,
elbob

The rule is to never leave any question unanswered as it might be a reason for the application to be returned. In my case, I answered Yes (you can answer No if you want) and then wrote 'N/A' beside the question since I don't live in Quebec as well. I got AOR too, so doing this worked. Hope that helps.

I simply answered "yes". I didn't want to leave it blank and my logic was "if I move to Quebec before my application is processed, then this question will become relevant to me", so I just checked it, even though I am not planning to move there. I got AOR already.

You don't have to register.. Besides if you don't live in Quebec, you wouldn't register to vote there. Just my two cents. I think since humans are reading it, they'll see that you don't even live in Quebec so it not a pertinent question for you. But it also states answering yes or no will not affect the application, registry is optional so I think if you miss answering, they won't reject it, they just won't register you.

you can click NO even if u live in Quebec.

i clicked NO on every MP & elections related questions and and got AOR.

ELECTIONS ARE VOLUNTERLY nobody can force u to vote. I dont plan on voting for any party as i left my country because of politicians and will never trust one.

Same good logic. No penalties for yes no or blank

The option to answer yes or no is greyed out in my case. Can't fill in anything.

For 17a and 17b, I can fill out yes or no. Just not for 17c. Not sure why that is the case.
