Hi,

I got my open work permit Feb 2012 after completing my studies as an International student. however i got the contract job offer from the company on 23rd Jan i started immediately. I was also holding the off campus work permit as well during that time. I have finished my contract last month on 22nd Jan by completing full time work of 12 months. Further i was also incorporated for this contract term. What type of incorporation documents do i need to provide with the CEC application. Your answers and suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hi - when did you actually graduate? (Date on your diploma).

This sounds like you were self-employed. If you were self-employed, the experience will not qualify for the CEC program.

I graduated in December 2011. Further i got the open work permit after completing the studies. It was employer requirement who asked me to open a incorporation for the contract purpose, and also submitted my tax as well.

Sorry, this still isn't clear -
1) Did you receive a T4 or T4A?
2) What's your occupation/industry? Are you a "personal services" contractor?
3) Is your employer willing to state in writing that you are an "employee" (not contractor) of the company?

I have my own T4 which is created by the accountant for my incorporation...

Further, I am in IT networking industry which comes in NOC 2281 Computer network technicians.

I will get a letter from the employer saying that I worked as Network Analyst on so and so incorporation number from starting date to end date.

Hey Jes, What if someone has T4A ? does he qualify for CEC ?
