Don't worry you are safe in context of cap... it's taking minimum 4 weeks and hopefully your BD would be encashed within 6-8 weeks; that means on or before 7 Sept... good luck.

so now it is official. CAP IS REACHED.

now the golden question "ARE WE IN????"

Since the NOC 1122 cap was not reached I was really hoping that i might make it........my documents UPS is saying will be delivered today. Ofcourse I know I am too late....(i wanted to collect all the documents, get notarized and make it full proof). I am hoping for a miracle that when they open the packet may be it might be considered. Let us hope for the best but I am sure you guys will make it as you sent the documents in July........ I am being positive......Any views on this.....Any hopes in my case......Are these 500 the ones with eligibility check (67 points done) and fee payment from CC/BD charged?

I somehow had this feeling they would update the list today. So now, all we need to do is wait for our CC/BD to be encashed. I guess by the 2nd week of September, we should get to know

Hi Suhas ,

Did we want give orginal birth certificate and Marriage certificate,
Not necessary right.........
Yes, original not required, photocopy notarized required. However if they are not in English or French, they need to be translated and affidavit from translator is also required.

What does this cap mean. So far I guess, probably applications reached by august 19, 2011 Friday will make up for the cap. My applications reached on august 19, can I hope for the best?

CAP is reached. It means CIC will not receive too many applications for the rest of the year and anyone whose application fall within the CAP will be processed quickly. Good luck to all forum members..!!!

Any idea how long CIC will take to process the accepted applications and we will be able to reach Canada.

I basically require more logical explanation based on what they have quoted on website. It says application received as of august 22 are approximate no. That means if my application received on august 19 duly acknowledged by DHL courier along with name of person of cic can have sound grounds to fall safely within the cap.

Point to be noted is they have mentioned the word "received" and not " processed" in respect of lodged applications.
