Thanks for sharing the information. I hope CIC will soon be charging the application received in 3rd and 4th week of July. I feel that they have received loads of applications on 6th & 7th July and after that they may have received applications in the normal flow.

I agree that it sounds ridiculous that CIC would have received 500 applications in the first week, but they kept it open until now.
By the grace of God, all of us will be in the CAP.

Hello friends,
I am filling out the new generic form which is quite confusing,to say the least Sad I need help !!!!! There are some questions which do not apply to my case e.g, quebec certificate. If I leave it blank, the box becomes gray. My questions are:
1. I cannot type N/A as there is no option for that. What should i do as I've read that we should not leave any question unanswered?
2. If I take out a print and then write n/a by hand will it not effect the bar code page?
I will keep on asking questions as I go along, please do not mind Kiss
Someone please answer. I need help URGENTLY

Friends NOC 1122 reached 419....................do you think that CIC is having a huge back log in 1122.................they are doing maximum of 25 to 35 application almost everyday...............which is normal............

I THINK THAT THE PEOPLE WHO HAD SEND THEIR APPLICATION TILL 8 AUGUST HAS ALSO A FAIR CHANCE OF MAKING TO THE CAP.......BECAUSE STILL 81 PLACES ARE LEFT.....................REMEMBER LAST YEAR THE APPLICANTS WHOSE APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED TILL 27 OCT 2010 WERE INCLUDED IN THE CAP ........WHAT DO YOU THINK

Hay Guys if you remember and following CIC updates then you have also noticed this trend as well.On first update of 21 july the CIC indicated only 52 applications and and then suddenly number jumps to 187 after just few days.On 29th july the numbers were hitting 269, after that speedy increase the CIC become more consistent with an average increase of 27/30 applications per day.This shows that after clearing initial backlog CIO has nearly matched the filed numbers.This is why they are daily updating the website to keep the new applicants inform about the current ststus of cap. :-* :-* :-*

currently 84% cap filled

i have been tracking this on Excel and they update every day by simliar numbers (15 - 25) - this does mean that they have caught up with the backlog. CC and BD s have been charged within about a month period from filing date. so i am predicting that nex week we will have applicants of 11th - 15th july have the CC and BD charged.

calculating by the trend they should reach 438 tomorow and reach the cap on 16th or 17th (not sure how the weekend affects the intake).

i filed mine on the 12th of July. hope to see my CC charged on the 15th or 16th of August.

Hi Priyavig - by that i presume you mean the 8th August, if its the 8th July i may as well hope the NOC1122 is in next years agenda ;-)
My aplpication was received on 3rd August and i am applying through the Visa Bureau as an agent, based here in London. My contact there said the application would be within quota and at the time only 267 had been counted give or take. Plus i am paying through a BD which can take longer than a CC or other payment method so throwing out date correlation some more.... I guess i will wait and see but my agent has said that they will receive an email if my application is checked and ok'd for it to then be sent to the Canadian High Commission in London for further assesment.

Thanks , My application ( NOC 1122 ) also received on 3rd August ( 13.35 by KSWARDZ ) . I hope within the CAP . May be will wait for 4-6 weeks for further information . I applied my self . You applied with new form or old form ??

I know this sound ridiculous, but is it a MUST to submit my application without IELTS scores and then submit the scores 4 days later?

My appl finally reached on 10th afternoon 1 PM. These DHL guys took 5 long days to deliver... Hope I still can get within the CAP.

It is mandatory to submit the IELTS result in ORIGINAL WITH the application
