A different perspective here altogether, this is not to contradict any other views, I feel this may be right as well:
1)The first cc charged here was of person whose application reached on the 5th July and got charged on 22nd July , if I cross check this with the last year's 1122 applicants, the earliest applications reached in July after the June 26th changes.Stated below is the pattern of charging CC and encashing BD.
9th july - 7th sep cc,9th july - 8th sep - BD, 21st July - 7th sep BD
Whereas for the OCT 25th, 26th and 27th 2010 ones it was happening in a week's time
This means the count cc/bd charging may not be a pointer toward the actual count of applications passing review.
2)The count that they display is actually the count of a successful applications . Last year the cap of 1000 was reached on the 5th of Nov and the last successful apps were of the 27th October 2010.

Hi Rehan,

I fail to understand which letter are you talking about. CIC does not acknowledge receipt of application. The first communication from their side is through email where they inform us about +ve/-ve eligibilty determination.

Also on first 3 days of July, CIO was closed.(1st-Canada day, 2nd-Sat, 3rd- Sun).

Please let us know the contents of the letter minus the personal details.

Thanx
Could the AOR that Ravi mean, the delivery receipt from DHL? As being received by the person in CIC? Its really quite preposterous for CIC to get to process his papers and issue AOR so early, when it should take 3-4 months for AOR to be issued, right?

Hi, I also submitted my file to CIO on 1st July. Today I got a letter of acknowledgment but without a file No. Does this mean that the file number will be issued later on.
Do you mean perhaps, PER? the positive Evaluation Receipt? or the courier delivery receipt that CIO acknowledged? Its way too fast for CIC to issue you an AOR, dont you think?

guys I got to know from some where. noc 1122 will remains open till September. so dont worry and hope for the best

Hi everybody!

I sent my complete application the 1st of July by UPS and was received in Sydney the 4th.

Where did you get this info? It is very clear in the CIC website that the NOC will remain open only until the 500 cap is reached. So we really cannot say when that cap could be reached especially with NOC 1122 which is always the first to get filled up.

Hy, I also submitted just that plus driving licence copy, as nothing else was mentioned on Vienna VO check list.
Later I noticed that people from India sent a proof of residency for family in Canada, so I dont understand, how can one VO ask for that and other dont.

They definitely require proof of relations and proof of residency of relatives in Canada as this will give you additional points in your application, otherwise you wont get the points for adaptability..Those who filled with the help of consultants have known of this based on their experience with CIC applications. Im not quite sure if it is mentioned in detail in the VO requirements..

If you say that oct applications got charged within a week. Then how come the last successful application is dated 27/07/2011. Please can you clarify. Sorry but really worried.
