1122 Post Application ON July 2011 Lets Share

Guys whose application were received by CIO on the 5th of July are getting their CC charged on the 27 th of july.
That means they were not in the list of 52 complete applications received list updated by CIO last week.
So 52 applications received before july 5th.
At this rate i think the persons whose applications were received by CIO before the 10Th of july will only make it within the 500 CAP.
It will be more clear when the CIO updates the list again.

That is bad news.. What is the procedure..? Any idea.. how many days they take to check the application and if valid, when they charge the credit card.. and when they update the list, which application they count? If your doubts are correct, then I should stop checking my credit card transactions as my application was received on 20th July.

I'd argue alot of guys that sent their packs to be delivered on 5th July would get rejected - a lot of the new docuemnts that have to be included were not released until the 4th July so unless these people hand delivered their packs they could be in trouble. But there will be a back log and a huge number sent, best just to try i think!

Also - there is news stories around this subject that they are reviewing the numbers ongoing, we could always hope that they increase the cap 'mid-flight' but i doubt that is likely.....

new documents and forms will be required from Nov. For now both old and new froms will be accepted side by side

Where did you get this info/how do you know this? Very interesting. My app was received on 6th July, so there's still a glimmer of light, I think?!

Well someone on the forum only reported that his CC got charged on the 27th of July and his application had reaced CIO on the 5th of July.
And u will surely make it within the cap if all your documents are in order as per CIO wants them to be.
So u shud not worry about the 500 Cap.

How many days depends on the number of files they receive each day. (i.e Workload)
They charge the credit card when ur file is complete with all the necessary documents as per CIC guidelines
They are now updating the list every thursday.
They count the applications as complete against which CC/Bd has been charged or en-cashed after passing the initial completeness check.

My application reached CIC on the 28th of October 2010, a day after the cap effectively got filled. Even this year it reached only on the 21st of July. There can be no one as lucky as me I guess. :-(

His app. reached CIO on July 5th. His CC was cashed on July 27th. If we are talking about post July 2011 applicants, there was no CC's cashed on July 5th.

Last year my application was one day late. This year, I ll see what happens. Last year, it was the consultant who delayed it for nothing and this year I prepared it myself and submit at 14th july.

No, it can't be because there are still other applicants whose pack reached on 5th July but cc/bd not charged which could mean that they have not completed processing all the applications that were received on that day. Why did it take 21 days to send your application? You can check goodman's thread for people who are planning to apply after july 2011 and check out the spreadsheet.

What a wonderful morning when you learn you CC limit just dropped by cad1400. In another situation I would freak out, but not today.

My CC was just charged with date 07/27.

FYI. I used my standard credit card with CitiBank and it went out smoothly.
