Looks like there are a lot of us 1122 applicants! Best of luck to you all. I worked so hard on this application, included our police clearances, got almost everything notarised just to be on safe side, gave more than adequate proof of settlemts funds, got at least 2 friends to proof-read my application etc etc! I really hope we are all successful!

You sure sound a lot like me. I did the same. And when I finally dropped off my application package at Fedex, I could not stop thinking I forgot to sign one page or fill one field, etc. haha

How you've sent ur application?? it was through courier or through IndiaPost(registered post)??

Hi alaindotcom

Yep, I hear what you are saying about having a last minute panic. I checked over my app so many times, and worryingly kept finding wee things to tidy up, but overall I'm happy with the final pack. There were a lot of documents! I feel like I know the application forms and process inside out, as have looked at these forms and checklists way too much! Glad it's sent off now, as it sucked up so much of my time the past couple of months!

Now we just have to play the waiting game, check our visa cards and our email! Looking forward to seeing the first of the updates. NOC 1122 will fill up fast.

Need help

I filed my FSW1-NOC#1122 application on 1st July 2011. The application was received on 6th July 2011. I believe its currently undergoing Completness/Eligibility check.

I am claiming 70 points on my application with 5 points of adaptability as my Paternal Uncle is canadian citizen. i have provided his passport copy(as proof of status) & Telephone bill/Bank Statement copy(as proof of residency). However i was unable to provide the document(i.e birth certificate of my uncle & father) to prove Proof of Relationship. The document is not available, since birth registration was not there in 1960's in india & were only introduced after 1970's. The new checklist on cic website explicitly mentions to provide birth certificate of applicant father & uncle to trace their parents.

I did not provide this explanation while submitting the application. I just happen to know from CIC new checklist that an explanation is required if applicant is unable to provide certain required document.

Though i have already mailed(FSW‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca) them my circumstances, please can anyone suggest better approach ?

Without this 5 adaptability point my score will end up on 65 & hence rejection .

Pls help

I have a bad news for the applicants who couldn't submit the application yet or their applications are not delivered yet. I had submitted my application via DHL on 14th July. I checked the status of my application on the phone and I have found out that this morning there were so many shipments for Sydeny from Halifax that DHL has to arrange an extra delivery Van. I guess if that many applications are sent for 2 days, the quota will be filled.. isn't it?
I couldn't check whether DHL is arranging extra Van for last few days? DHL is just one courier company and people are submitting application through all other companies as well.

And we know most of the applications will be under category 1122 (probably more than 90% of them)

Hi Saamsari,

Have you send your current company reference letter with Jobs and duties to justify yourself to file under NOC 1122. If yes then can you please send me the format?

Hi,
Even I also want to know how many applications has been filed under 1122. I am ready with the all the documents and waiting for Current company reference letter validating my Roles and duties. My company is delaying unnecessary. Please advice what else can be done to proof duties?

it is a very alarming news....only thing we can to do is to hope it makes within 500....thanks for sharing the info though....

if anyone gets any indication of how many 1122 applications have been received by CIO and had passed the completeness check....pls share.....

My application is not delivered yet and I am checking it probably 50 times every day... I really feel that I should have gone myself to handover the application to them..

My package was received on the 8th. I hope that was early enough to make it to the first 500. As a backup strategy, I am going to start looking for employers who would be willing to extend a job offer even if that means they have to wait for a couple of months before I am finally landed. I looked at monster.ca just now and there are absolutely a lot of open opps that match my capabilities. Employers, however, would have to go through the LMO process.. which I hear is tedious. So I feel like it's going to be tough luck. But it won't hurt to try.

I am UK citizen and can travel to CA without visa..

Unfortunatelly, but there is not much you can do about the certificate itself. Until the original IETLS certificate is in your hands you can not send the the docs to CIO. But make sure everything else is prepared, so when ielts certificate is on hands you send the whole package right away.

Good luck

You could also request a scanned copy sent to you ASAP, print and attach to your docs and explantory letter that the original will be posted on 13th. This will enable you meet the cap. I had my IELTS original which I Included in my application. I also wrote TEF, but the CCI Paris said the attestation will be available in Cameroon by 5th August. So I requested them to send a scanned copy of results which I included and sent to CIO
