Hi Hussein. Do you have any migration consultancy representative in Dubai? My representative is NASC. My application reached in NS last july 21, 2011 and up to now, NASC has no update with regards to my application. :( They told me to wait for another 2 months.. :(

There are consultants in Dubai, but not worth going thru them, when the process itself is quite straight-forward. As for your case, you should probably write to CIO to check the status of your application and if applied under NOC 1122, you should expect to receive your documents back depending on when they were returned to you. Good Luck.

got my documents back 3 days ago.... cap reached when documents where received at NS

good luck guys....

I applied for NOC 1122. Now I'm trying to call my representative but their office is currently close. :(

Oh, I am sorry bro but if u applied under NOC 1122 and your package reached after 7th July 2011, you should not expect to receive some good from CIC or from your consultant

Hi friends,

I am invited to attend a program called CANADIAN ORIENTATION ABROAD. This is conducted by CIC and IOM.

If I am correct this program is conducted in many countries and even in Sri Lanka this program has been conducted for many years. People who migrated before me also appreciated this program.

This program mainly targets on issues like arriving in Canada, settling down, jobs, home and others issues faced by newcomers.

If you have any questions please pass it to me immediately (Before 1600 GMT) so that I can ask the resource person. However if I am correct its all about settlement in Canada.

That's "Unique Client Identifier", a kind of unique reference no. to your application.

Try following link & follow (continue), finally you can see your status online (unfortunately in your case negative)
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en

good luck for next time.

Dear All,

I applied under 1122 category last year and i I got the application back few days back.
I have checked and it seems I also qualify for the quebec skilled immigration category. I'm thinking of applying through that route. What do you suggest should I wait till July and then apply again under Federal skilled worker category? Or should I apply now under Quebec?

If I apply through Quebec and then I suspect my application would have been moved to some distance by July this year.

Also since it seems there are many people who have got the application back this year the Will be filled even earlier than seventh of July.
And it is likely that even if I send my application in June and I may still be unlucky and miss out on another year.
I would have ideally preferred the Federal skilled worker category as I know no French. And also I need just the minimum qualification points for the Quebec category. But the good news is that I still qualify because of my 7.5 score in IELTS examination.

I am thinking that I apply now through Quebec and I hope by June I will get some information as to my application is going ahead or not depending on the I would apply under Federal skilled worker category also.

What do you think? Thank you
