Sorry to hear about your application. May I ask when CIC have returned the application to you. Is there a date on the letter or maybe on the envelop (stamp)?
I am also in same situation. My application reached CIC on the 10th August and they said they have sent it back on the 25th August, but till date I have not received anything yet.
I am from the Netherlands.

Hi Tulip. The letter date and the stamp date are the same i.e 10th November 2011. In your case I doubt, that they have returned the application on 25th August else it should have reached you as you and me we both are in Europe (I am in Germany). If you do not recieve your package till middle of January, then I suggest you to inquire again.

1122. They also opnened my documents and checked just the general form. Infact I could see a number written in pencil by them starting with E. They also wrote that after initial assessment they have reached to conclusion that my application does not fall in the cap of 500 and since I have no AEO, i am not eligible.

what does AEO stands for ,if cap was reached how can they say that u r not eligible ,coz eligibility criteria =67 points or more,
if cap was reached y they checked ur application ,y haven't they send all application received by them after 8 JULY,its really unusual behavior from CIO!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys just a quick inquiry regarding my ecas status it is "IN PROCESS" and when you tick on the hyperlink there is a phrase saying that We have received your application for permanent residence on Sep 13, 2011

What does it mean?

Does it mean my application hasn't been processed yet?

I believe if the status is "IN PROCESS" then your case has been forwarded to VO.

Can someone enlighten me.. I really would appreciate it..

The theory from my agent: He said that they review (2nd review?!) the first 500 applications very carefully. It could be that another applicant (person B) who applied later (in July or August) is more eligible for NOC 1122 than the one who applied (person A) before the 8th July. In this case it could be that they prefer person B, rather thn person A.

Its a theory, no-one knows what is happening inside CiC.

Its just a confirmation that they have received your application. Not even the initial review has been done. Under which category did you apply?

Sorry to use this. I think its bullshit.

There is nothing like eligible and more eligible.

Its simply Eligible or not eligible.

1122 cap is already reached. If an application is rejected then another application might be processed.

1122 is in high demand. Applying after 08th July and getting a chance is rare or even impossible. Others if you have comments please make it.

There are people who are more knowledgeable than me in this forum. I think they can raise their voice.

God only knows how they check eligibility its almost 4.5 months since no ans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least they should inform to our INBOX that we are in or out!!!!!!!

Your agent is correct in the first part..CIO now reviews every file thoroughly and issues a Final Positive Eligibility.
All other theories from your agent is with the intention of delaying payment of your fees back to you...

Kindly check your Spam mail for letter from FSW-Sydney-centralized intake office.

i am still waiting for Medical! After getting UCI, i have logged in immigration site, found y status "IN PROCESS" & when I clicked "In process" link for details i have found below message.

We received your application for permanent residence on July 8, 2011.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 27, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

What dose it means? my verification done ?? do u have same massage ???

If PER is ok then the application will be sent to the visa office.

PER is ok means success in the application; if you supporting documents are correct and you pass the medicals.

the delay must have been caused by postal service. Use case specific enquiry to get email confirmation of ur MR. Good luck
