I mean BEFORE PPR. I'm planning to renew my passport. Do i send them a photocopy of the new one or just wait for PPR and send both old and new?

Ahhhhh ..if you're planning on submitting your app with an older passport then sure submit a photo copy and note explaining what you're doing.
Before Mrs JGM submitted her app she had her new passport issued with her married name though.
Seems to me the processing time for the new passport wasn't more than a couple of weeks.That saved the hassle of having to deal with it again down the road.
The " cleaner" your application is, the better.

Hi Guys. What is the red passport and is accepted by any international air aviation ,that was referred by CEM and is highly recommended? Is it the newest one( the one with the chips at the back?)?. Is the maroon , machine readable one be okay to submit for visa?

it should be the dark maroon passport with a chip at the bottom, that is the updated one.. green and light maroon passports doesnt have the "drawing" of a chip below the word "pasaporte" sa cover.. makita mo sa google yung difference nung tatlo..

Thanks Yowan. I know the differences between the three , I have the latest one with the chips . Does that mean that hindi mag-issue ng visa ang CEM if my LC2's passport are not the latest one( the one with the chips)? Their current passport are the maroon, machine readable one.Any idea if how many days does it take for them to replace it into an updated one?

How long can I wait to come to canada after my canada visa is issued i am under live in caregiver program sponsored by my wife in canada kasi po para maprepare ko ang pag exit ko dito sa Saudi kasi po di naman kami kagad agad pinapaexit ng company.Thanks
