10 months and haven't received renew Permanent Resident Card

Hi everyone!

We need your help!
My mother, who is a Permanent Resident, applied to renew her Permanent Resident Card in December 2015. And until now, after 10 months, she has not received her new card yet.

We checked online and called CIC, but all we can get was that they are still processing her application, no additional information, nothing!

My mother is becoming very worried and it's affecting our family.

Is anyone having the same situation here? Is there anything else I can do to voice our concern and frustration?

What does your ecas say? U didnt hear anything from them in this time?

Hi

How many days did she have when she applied? Did she have lots of absences over the past 5 years ? What residency proofs did she submit?

Long investigations tend to mean IRCC has concerns the person doesn't meet the RO.
