1 month of waiting to get passport back from Detroit !!!

Been a month on 25 Jul, after passport was received by Detroit...still DD not encashed nor has the status changed (last one was MR received). Do I have to worry ?? Hope they havent misplaced my passport !!!

I hope they didn't misplaced your passport. The best idea is to contact them to find out whether they receive your passport or not?

Where did you sent your pp to Windsor or Detroit?

Didn't you mention in one of your posts that you have received reply to your query? You had mentioned 5-6weeks timeline for PP return.

Like you, I am wondering about the processing times for PP return; but at the same time I get the feeling that Detroit location is now overload after Buffalo office is shut down.

same here. My passport was received at Windsor on the 22nd June. Haven't heard anything since then. DD was not encashed when I checked with the bank few days ago. status hasn't changed either. I sent an email to Detroit, but no reply.... im little worried now.

I sent it through International priority mail, have proof of signature: D.Scottie. I send it to Detroit to save time.

I'm in the same boat guys. They received my PP copy on Jun 25th, signed by D.Scottie.

No bank draft cashed/change to ecas.

I'm sure we'll hear from them in the next week.

I've just received mine today
They have received my passport request documentations on June 22.
status changed to decision made on July 7
and I've finally received it today, July 26
a confirmation of PR

Thanks for the info...but my status is still MR received even after 1 month of receiving Passport....keeping calm....hope the status changes soon and they dont take 2 weeks after that to send my passport back !!!

check my other post with timeline if you want, I've just post it up.
generally, if they send you passport request, means you are gonna get your letter pretty soon
I've been waiting nervously everyday after they've received my passport
I go to Canada post's website to check my tracking # EVERYDAY and a couple time a day to see if it get received at the post office.
Finally,
Post office received it yesterday at 3:30pm
and I've got my confirmation by mail today at 10:30am
