0213 Computer and Information Systems Managers

I work with a Telecommunication company in kuala lumpur and my job category falls on Job Code 0213 Computer and Information Systems Managers but the Job Title is IP Engineer and my job responsiblity include designing of Network and Building of Server Using Cent (Linux) and i have been working for the past 7 years on Unix/ Linux .

I have involved in setting up of Wimax in local city in my country and works on several projects

My Question is that will i need to change my Job Title since my Company will be writing a reference letter for me as an IP Engineer and my responsibility covers almost all the Job required since Technology is Based on IP.

What we have learn here that "TITLE" is not important but your Job/Duties/Responsibilities should be same as much possible to NOC-0213. If in case, you are doing same jobs as "0213", then do not worry about Title and go ahead. We wish you good luck.

mahharrouf is right... title doesnt matter... pay a lot of attention in writing the duties/responsiblities... u need to convince the visa officer that u r eligible and this is the only way u can convince him

It is all about the job duties and title that I have understood

If your role matches the 0213 duties you are good to go. But it should include managerial duties like budgeting, negotiation, recommending for training, mentioring, hiring etc

no, tital is important , becuase NOC code emphasis on this with described job descriptions

Adding to what others have mentioned make sure that you will be able to get a letter( current or previous employer) with all the responsibilites you are mentioning in your application as Employment verification letter may be requested from CIC at a later date. You could also provide the same at the time of your application(this will strengthen your case further if sent with accompanying document).

I am also applying for the PR visa, I also working as Senior N/W engineer working for french based company in its Information Systems (IS)
Basically working as infrastructure administrator for the whole site.

I am also undertaking managerial duties like budgeting, negotiation, purchases and everything related to IS which helps to run the company

Hope I will able to satisfy the CIC!!

Title is not important, duties are.

My title is Director of regional office, but my duties are exactly as 0213. It's just the main company wanted me to have that title.

So, as long as your reference letters, subordinate staff (engineers, programmers, technicians), other participants in the projects, clients, projects' materials, your educational background and career will clearly and undoubtedly present you as 0213 you have no problem.

Like mine CNC-Economics+programmer-IT manager (installation&maintenance Networks/Computers)-0213 (Telecommunication&IPTV projects)

I have Bsc Informaion technology with 5 years working experind and i also have CCNP, But my Husband just finish her Diploma but he has extra semester to complete his course, so i cannot add is Diploma to it.

My Question is that with Bsc Degree and my CCNP will i qualify? and mind you am only claiming English Language, so please kindly help me to clarify this.
