We both know the amount of jobs doesn’t increase at the same rate as the consumer indicator. And everyone in our situation is eager to get Canadian work experience.

I can’t give you an accurate response to that, since I still need to find out for myself but this what I think “nothing is easy in Canada” and that’s exactly how it should be. And logical thinking says, student = student town = many sollicitants for part time jobs = scarcity in part time jobs.
