@Asivad, I've tried to follow your inputs on people getting rejection after bg going in progress for outland applications; have you heard of applications being declined after this point? You posted a few times about it around page 55 or so but not much after that?

Thanks for pointing that out; that must be really difficult for some people that are heading toward 7 months processing, isn't it? In reality they will have 4 months maximum if you go for your medicals a month before you submit? :-\

If someone could clarify please: If a year passed since medicals (July 2015) before we can get to Canada, is it simply a matter of going for a new medical assessment? Is this checked at border entry? Thanks

Just checking in .... AOR and medicals passed early in September, not a single update since - just keeping positive and going on with life ... ::)

Also in the medicals passed, BG not started yet club since early Sept. Hang in there peeps, our time WILL come that is for sure ;)

I keep seeing people frustrated that they haven't received anything in 1 month; it will take a few months and they even specify that they need up to 6 months to process applications. Most progress is only seen toward the end; EE is a million times better than the previous systems where it took...

Understood - It's just that we've built up a good history of saving for the POF in one account and it would look really strange (yes I realize we can provide a letter stating the source of funds) that the amount amassed over such a short period. I will have a chat with my bank and see what...

Hello Asivad, Could you please elaborate on the above? Even if the spouse is accompanying the PA it is not valid? Would it do if the spouse has power of attourney over the account? Thank you for your help!
