Hi, I think it depends from case to case. I sent my Medicals in July 2014. I received the passport request in June 2015 and now my visa is issued with an expiry date of August 2015. So the visa issued after almost a year !

I also plan to land and stay for a week next month and share the same questions. Anyone who faced similar situation, please share your experience. Specifically I am worried about the PR card, will it be sent to my friend's address and will i receive it through courier?
