Hello folks. We are planning a short landing in July / August in Toronto, with permanent relocation early next year (assuming either me or my spouse find suitable employment).
I'm starting this thread to get inputs and share information among others in a similar situation. A few immediate questions come to mind:
1. Giving the address of a friend / family to receive the PR cards in the mail
2. What paperwork can / should ideally be completed during the short landing (health card? SIN? bank account opening?)
3. Most important: Initial meetings with head hunters, others in our line of work, to understand job prospects better
