Hey fellow Londoners, I got my COPR today. I applied on Feb 26th and it all came through today, so to give you an idea of timings, it took just over 10 months for me. I've got 1 year to land, but we're planning on moving end of January. We just want to get out there! :D ;D :P

Was "invited" to pay RPRF a few weeks ago, and did so promptly. Is this an indication that I may be getting closer to COPR? I assume they don't ask applicants to pay RPRF unless they are close to making a final decision right? My app is at CIC Ottawa and has been processing since May 5th...

Spoke to CIC-M today. My wife has got SA!!! Actually, turns out she got approved at the end of April, we just didn't get the email. Either way, she is now approved as my sponsor and my application is now being processed in Ottawa! Been waiting for this news for a long time! Next stop - COPR...

Am I right in assuming that once you get COPR, you only need to LAND in Canada by the deadline date but you don't need to necessarily STAY in Canada from the deadline date? I have read that people land in Canada, check in with the PR people and then fly back out to their home country to continue...

CIC received our immigration on Feb 24th. Still haven't heard a thing from them. No AOR, no SA...processing times now say they are working on April 1st applications. I've tried calling CIC, but they never answer. I've sent an email, but no reply. God, this waiting is just awful. The worse part...
