Yes, got a response to my web form saying they'll forward the virtual landing request to the appropriate office. For reference, the web form was submitted on June 16, the response was received on September 2.
Same situation - application had Canadian address from the beginning but still got PPR. Also requested virtual landing via web form. Could you please keep us posted on when you hear from IRCC regarding virtual landing? I'll update as soon as I (hopefully) hear back from them too
Thank you. IRCC agent on the phone said he can't see the webform, which means they haven't processed it yet (that's what he said, not my assumption). Does it mean that once IRCC opens/processes the webform it will take another 1-2 months to wait in this new queue for virtual landing...
there was recent news about privacy breach (CIC sent work permit and permanent residence applicants emails with names and UCIs and other personal info to wrong people), so it's possible they sent your email with the letter to somebody else :(
this article is about work permits but there were...
how do you guys get an answer from your MP? :( I tried email and filling out a "contact us" form on her website but I'm getting no response. And they have no appointments available at the moment.
Does anyone know how long it takes to receive virtual landing instructions after receiving a "passport request" letter? My parent received a passport request letter despite the Canadian address on the profile. As per letter instructions, we notified IRCC that the applicant is in Canada (via web...
nothing :( Application received on Feb 03, 2021, medical passed on Nov 18, 2021. Not a single message since then...I submitted a notes request but didn't get anything either, it's been over 3 months. Is there anything else we can do now?
Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately, can't track parents' applications :(
For the initial launch, the tracker will be available for permanent residence applicants in the spouse, partner and dependent child categories.
Congratulations to everyone who received their PPR!
For the rest of us, it is so nerve wracking to wait for 3-4 months with no news :( I feel so helpless, all the steps are completed (I understand they need to finish eligibility and background check before PPR?) and then it's been almost 4...
Portal email is for parents who are already in Canada so they don't have to leave the country and physically cross the border. If your parents sent their passports to be stamped, this doesn't apply to them. Congratulations on PPR!
I called them to confirm and they said to update my mom's address (so she will get virtual landing instructions) and dependent will get a passport request. When you update the address, there is an option to only change one person's address and leave dependents with an old address.
I'm in the same situation and updated the address via webform. That way your dad can land virtually instead of physically cross the border. At least that's my understanding, unfortunately, not at that step yet.
that amount includes RPRF. I've also paid it with my application and received this request together with PCC, so I ignored it since already paid. I believe it said "if" not already paid
