I got an email yesterday morning stating my sponsorship has been approved and the file has been transferred to Ottawa for the further approval. I checked online status-just says we received your application.

Got AOR on March 21st through email.

For all those people whose credit card had issues-did you try faxing them the correct info?

they didn't even try once-they called my bank to verify the info and it didn't match so they didn't even try.... sounds very strange but that's the story i know!

Just called my bank and they confirmed that there was a failed attempt this morning because of wrong phone number they have at the bank. So frustrating... wonder if they will try again.

Haha... i have even written my test but my online status still shows that we have started processing your application in Aug 17, 2013 -so clearly not too dependable!

Thank you, wrote the test today-passed (discover canada is good enough) Now waiting to get the mail regarding the oath.

Finally got my test date as Dec 4th-got the letter today. No change in my status online though and i called them this past friday to ask about any update and the guy just told me that i should get something by May 2015 (and the letter was mailed out that same day itself) Whatever!

Are they going to open or start accepting new applications for parents early next year? When will we get to know for sure?

And i checked online and there is no update but looking at the mailing address, it looks like my application has been moved to my local address i.e Winnipeg. I hope it's not a long wait after fingerprint now. So application mailed-end of may In process-Aug first week in local office-feb, 2014
