I went to land at fort erie as well. I didnt do uturn, however the US custom officier actually instructed me how to do a u turn (i guess lots people do that). I think you could always ask them to tell you how. :)

Hi tdcec, I think it suggests a deadline for VO to finalize your application. From my GCMS, i have june 20 due date and my passport is sent out today. So I guess on or before this date, the VO has to take a look at your case. It's coming, bro. probably tonight.

Nope. Nothing yet. However, I got my GCMS notes today. requested more than a month ago.

I sent my passport on June 3 and received by CIC June 4. Return tracker not activated yet. It seems waiting time for the last step varies since my friend sent his passport May 29 and got it back yesterday. I hope ours come back soon!

I'm in the same situation. App recvd July 9 and AOR on Aug 9, 2012, no news yet... Sent CIC an email last week to update NOA and T4, however they never replied back to me. should I send another one to ask for confirmation? Btw, does anyone know if CIC will allow to hold PGWP and study permit...

It's now almost 10 months after file was received by CIC. No news, no updates. Getting impatient :-X :'(

I emailed and got the following reply, and it is pretty standard: Your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. No action is needed at this present time.Our office will get in contact with you regarding the next steps in your application.

Hi guys, should I be worried? My application was received on July 9, 2012, however as of today, I got nothing yet. Ecas stills shows application received. Noticed lots of ppl from late July and beg aug got their MEdicals, it makes me more nervous. Anybody in the same boat? ???

Hope we could get an update within this week. BTW, is application pkg reviewed and approved by only one VO? What if the VO reject a person's application, will it be also reviewed by other VOs to ensure decision was fairly made?
