Even though we got the email that application is received, we still cant check the status of the application, no tracking available still. Does anyone has knowledge how long do CIC really take to process/make a decision about an application.

What is the best way to contact NY consulate - by email or phone. I have submitted my passport as off April 16 and havent heard back yet. Can anyone suggest if going to NY consulate would be of any help. Thanks everyone
