they probably meant that it wasn't smart to delay it even a week since the processing times are more than 2 years on a good day! (check 2022 applicants thread)

IRCC has been taking less and less new international applications. Which means that they're trying to go through the backlog. Hopefully that will reduce our wait times as well. (it's 25 months on this date but I am hopeful for our sanity)

Don't worry too much. Everyone has a different officer thus their timelines are different. As long as they haven't lost your application then it's all okay. Considering you've been in a couple countries it'll definitely increase the processing time by a bit. Just stay patient and try to ignore...

I didn't even get an email/changes to IRCC website for my eligibility. I recently called them and the person assured me that it was passed on July 23rd. I received my pre arrival on July 24

that's great! according to my lawyer, everyone's process has a different order. It all depends on the criminal verification and how responsive IRB is. I saw another one of their clients who applied close to my time got an update so I assume yours should be soon too

No worries and yes it was April 14, 2023. Then received a AOR on June 14 2023. after that nothing till they asked for PCC in September (I was in a country for a bit more than 6 months) then nothing till now (pre arrival letter)
