Hello members, can an asylum claim be rejected at the POE? Where's it much better to claim from? Within or at the POE?

I withdrew mine early Mar but they haven't done so until now.

It wasn't a work permit. It's a tourist visa. Am withdrawing it however to apply and attend a conference in August.
