Is SCHEDULE A BACKGROUND mandatory for all EE PR Applicants ?

Re: Is SCHEDULE A BACKGROUND mandatory for all EE PR Applicants From what I have seen, Schedule A is not something everybody has to fill out. Personally, i had to fill my schedule A during processing. They will give you a week to fill it out, sign it and upload the file to my cic. If you left...

    common law partner

Once you have your ITA, you will have a separate section for your spouse or common law partner and all their information to fill in there. That also includes any documentation you have that proves that you are common law. So you have to show that you meet the requirements for common law, since...

    Question around Work History

As long as each job you had within the same company fits into the same noc code, then you should just be able to mark it all as one employment, but meake sure your employment letter from teh company mentions each position you held. If your promotion puts you in a different noc code, then you...

Statutory question around Visa Cancellation in PR application

Exactly. Mark both questions as yes and add an explanation as part of your Letter of Explanation or Cover Letter to explain the circumstances around the cancellation or refusal. Cic just wants you to be honest about any issues you or your spouse might have had. That way you avoid running into...

Only first name mentioned in graduation degree

I used WES myself. Didnt have any issues and received my WES report within about 2-3 weeks. WES offers a free quick assessment so you can get a rough idea on what to expect from the actual report. As long as you can get a sealed and signed transcript in an envelope from your university, you...

Express Entry Step by step instructions.

When you enter the number of completed academic years, always provide the course length provided by the university and not how long you or your husband actually took to finish the studies. After all, somebody might do a 4 year bachelor degree, but only part time and take 6 years to do it. In...

Only first name mentioned in graduation degree

As part of the WES process you have to send in your diploma and you have to request that your university sends in a complete transcript to WES. That means that they will have more than enough information. When you then submit your documentation later on, after having received an ITA, you also...

    Foreign Funds

I fully understand and I always felt the exact same way. Sometimes we tend to be too cautious and just drive ourselves crazy though ;) If you are worried about it, just include a quick explanation in your Letter of Explanation when you submit your application and you can tell them which...

Just make sure that the periods you choose ovelap or touch each other so that you dont leave any gaps. AOR in November 2015 - Let's get together

I have always gotten the exact same message you quoted from the day I submitted my application until today. I have already received my PPR by now and I still dont have ecas access. My personal guess is that they will phase it out entirely as it is no longer needed for the new express entry system.

Statutory question around Visa Cancellation in PR application

Ys, make sure to answer yes to both statutory questions that deal with rejections and add an explanation with your situation in your LOE. I had a similar issue and as long as you are open and honest about it, it should not have any impact on the success of your application.

    Foreign Funds

Since currency exchange rates can vary quite a bit over time, just go with the date of submission. Unless you have exactly the minimum amount required, there is really nothing to worry about as far as picking the right date. Personally, I just rounded to the closest round number based on the...

    Medical Validity

The six month rule makes sense if you think about it. They promise people that they try to finish all processing within six months so assuming that they can meet their own standards that would guarantee that your medicals are at least valid until the processing of your case is finalized.

    WES ECA

This is the official answer on the government website: Citizenship and Immigration Canada will accept ECA reports for five years from the date they are issued, so long as they were issued on or after April 17, 2013. If you got an ECA report before that date, you should contact the organization...
