I am curious to know if SCHEDULE A BACKGROUND DECLARATION mandatory to all EE PR Applicants ?

I submitted a profile with some gap in contact address, so I believe I am asked again to furnish all the details again.

However, under section 6 on EE myCIC there is a question for declaring if the applicant has been denied permit or visa; however in SCHEDULE A there is only a question for "been refused admission to, or ordered to leave Canada or any other country" ?

Pls. share your thoughts!!

Thanks in advance.

Re: Is SCHEDULE A BACKGROUND mandatory for all EE PR Applicants

From what I have seen, Schedule A is not something everybody has to fill out. Personally, i had to fill my schedule A during processing. They will give you a week to fill it out, sign it and upload the file to my cic.

If you left a gap, then i think it is a safe bet that you will receive schedule a request. Make sure that you didnt leave out anything important so that you dont run the risk of your application being considered as incomplete.

As far as the question regarding visa refusal goes, both schedule a and the regular application basically ask the same thing, even though it is worded differently but if you selected yes on your application, then the same would still apply for schedule a as well. I had answered yes and I included a detailed explanation as part of my application after ita and again with my schedule a. Just be honest and make sure that all the information entered in your schedule a form - if you need to submit it - matches the original application 100%.
I think i went back and forth between my application and schedule a form a million times to make sure it all matched perfectly ;)
