If you have already submitted all the documents for PA, then tomorrow your ecas will most likely show a DM for PA

My suggestion is to get it in advance and submit it the same day they ask for it. You can also submit before hand but we noticed that most will get a generic letter irrespective of what they have sent earlier.

Those who received PPR from CPC-M and parent not in Canada, how did you proceed ?. Did you submit a webform to transfer file to local VO where parent is. How much time for movement etc.

Under "Current Status", which is normally "Submitted". It will change to "application profile updated"

Please apply for PCC through Passport portal India. PCC is for country wide, and does not differentiate whether married or not.

Thanks @rinkupatel.dmj . As @fjle mentioned a ghost update is when you see the status in my CIC as "application profile updated" but truly no change to any other section. I had this update in myCIC on 25th, and next day ecas changed to "DM"

My mother is in India so we did it back home in regular Civil Court. It costed us around 10$.

Thanks @nonamejustfame . I sent an affidavit and notarized/certified copy of her passport and AADHAR card My recommendation in case parent does not have birth certificate is to send an affidavit and notarized/certified copy of Passport, Voter ID and Aadhar.

@robertp, Please update line 176, DM for PA updated in ecas today. Thanks @ankz001 , @fjle, @nomadic who predicted yesterday that a ghost update to myCIC will result in a DM for PA ! Such a good news to celebrate "Diwali"..

That will be awesome, but all those who got DM for PA got it through ecas with no change to myCIC, hence my worry. Quite an excitement for a Friday :)

I was checking myCIC today and it said application profile updated, but when I clicked view full application, there is no change in any of the status Once I am done reading, the state again changed to "Submitted" from "application profile updated" Anyone seen that ?

It will take between 1-2 weeks for results to appear, depending upon how fast your doctor submitted the results.

I kept checking my ecas and myCIC everyday and one fine day ecas was updated to "medical results have been received" and myCIC to XXX - You have passed medicals.
