I've had about four different "codes" on my correspondence, one of which was on two separate emails. Seems to me like files aren't worked on by a single individual (that would be way too productive for CIC), but rather are shuffled around the office.

We just got confirmation from our MP today that the strike is holding up our application. I know that some people have been saying that the strike is only affecting applications processed outside of Canada. Apparently that's not the case.
