Why do CRS draws seem like stock market? Do they make sense to you guys?

Is there a chance you misunderstood my comment? I wasn't saying anything against the Syrian refugees. I was talking about how low the number is for Skilled workers immigrating, and using Syrian refugees for contrast. I mean, if you have to make up artificial numbers (What say? 25K sounds right...

Why do CRS draws seem like stock market? Do they make sense to you guys?

Wow, kateg I had no idea, politics will play a role in the CRS draws. What I find interesting is that they took in 25K Syrian refugees, but only 31K ITAs were issues last year. These are skilled and qualified people who want to come to Canada, and probably deserve to.

Will it ever go below 450?

I am having a similar discussion in another thread here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/why-do-crs-draws-seem-like-stock-market-do-they-make-sense-to-you-guys-t402045.0.html. I don't know if anyone can predict if CRS it will go below 450. I feel it might go down...

    Procedure of Express entry

    4) No consultant required, but if you cannot research anything on your own, it will be good to pay someone. In your case it might be a good idea.

    Proof of Funds

Yes they will. As long as your account is either a joint account with your spouse or not a joint account. Joint account with mother for example - wont count.

Why do CRS draws seem like stock market? Do they make sense to you guys?

I am assuming pgwp = post grad work permit. I had no idea this was a factor. Thanks for letting me know. Now I am looking at May, Sep and Jan draws. So this explains why April draw's CRS was 453, and then May was 755 all of a sudden. But like you said Sep's CRS was the lowest ever 450...

Why do CRS draws seem like stock market? Do they make sense to you guys?

Your post and 245east84's posts were really helpful. Based on what you guys have said I guess my next question is When is the Summer break in Canada? Because workload seems to be an important factor. Scores have come down during winters (except around christmas when the draw was held after 19...

Why do CRS draws seem like stock market? Do they make sense to you guys?

I am trying to find a pattern in the draws (because I will loose 5 points in 6 weeks). But there does not seem to be a simple one. For example last year's 22 May draw was held after 35 days (a huge gap), and the score was 755 and yet 1361 applicants were given ITA, but the draw before this one...

Applicants with SCORE range 300 - 350 can Network here! | Express Entry 2015

If you have Two bachelors degrees, did you enter both as bachelors degree or did you enter the second one as two or more degrees (one of them should be more than three years)? Because that is how two degrees are supposed to be entered.

Yes you need ECA for spouse too. You will not get his/her points unless you have done ECA for your spouse's degree(s).

Express Entry Step by step instructions.

EDITED: because my original question has been answered by Asivad I have questions related to my job history. I was a teacher for some time, but then switched my profile completely. So I on this forum I got a reply that if I don't want to add any work history I can add it to my personal history...

    Thank you Asivad Anac

Hi Asivad, I have a couple of questions related to my and my spouse's degrees. 1) I have a degree that I feel will not contribute to my final score (I did not even get it assessed because it was too much hassle). Should I enter it in my express entry profile? 2) My spouse attempted a degree...

Can I leave Career or Job info from EE if it will not contribute to my CRS?

Thanks for replying. If you aren't getting any points for the degree i.e if you have an higher degree for which points are being awarded, you do not need to get an ECA I was wondering if I need to enter this degree at all? This degree actually would have improved my score, but its not going to...

Can I leave Career or Job info from EE if it will not contribute to my CRS?

    1) If I have a degree but I did not get ECA for it, should I enter it anyway? 2) Do I have to enter all my Jobs, I already have all the points I need from my current job (4 years continuous, primary NOC). - some were in a different city, and it will be difficult for me to get all the...

Express Entry Step by step instructions.

If I created my EE profile today, generally speaking by which draw can I expect to get an ITA (assuming score is not an issue)? I mean if there is a draw tomorrow, can I expect to get an ITA or is there a waiting time?

Education does not match job, will this be a problem?

A functional consultant knows the functional side of implementation for example Human resource or finance or supply chain management, but not the technical side. NOC 2171 (check this imgur url imgur.com/lHKdkSe.png) matches exactly what I do. Employment requirements mentions Degrees and...

Education does not match job, will this be a problem?

I completely agree with you guys, but the language on the occupation section is very specific. On the occupation section they are looking for the date when one "obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description". This forum is not allowing me to post link but you can chek...
