I believe that your PhD is in line with your UG/PG - but most importantly in line with the job your are doing. Meaning the PhD and the NOC in which you claim 7 years you claim of experience match. There is no clause that I have read stating that your work experience post your qualification only...

I was wondering the same. I don't see much progress with 2171.

3 to 4 months is what I read in most forums but of late we see some applications getting processed pretty fast like within a month. Having said that early this year there are folks who had to wait like 10 to 12 months. Scan through the earlier posts to see the recent experiences.
