Hi Racel, I think you don't need LMO for an open work permit. Open work permit may be either Post graduation work permit or an off campus work permit. I don't think these are any other circumstances in which you will get an open work permit. The cost is $150 for each work permit. hope this helps.

Hi No u won't get implied status automatically if your application is in process outside Canada. If your work permit is expiring, your employer should apply for LMO and then after getting positive LMO you have to apply for a new work permit under the same employer. hope this helps
