Security checks/ DM delay based on nationality?

I would not consider that discrimination on IRCC's part. There could be different protocols for background clearance based on country of origin. As you mentioned getting or confirming information from some countries might take much longer than others. I think the spreadsheet is great to get a...

Security checks/ DM delay based on nationality?

I was wondering if country of origin correlates with DM delays due to longer security clearance. If you're DM is taking longer than usual can you share your timeline and country of origin? My parents are from Iran, and did their test on April 4th in Vancouver. I wonder when we can expect to move...

Hopefully you'll get your test invite soon too. I guess they use the same template for everyone, so the email says test/interview but mentions the requirement for test. Good luck to youl.

    Sending Additional Documents

Hi, When my parents applied for citizenship, they did not include police certificate from country of nationality, because it could take months and they wanted to apply earlier rather than later. For post-C6 applicants who received AOR, did you use PR card as ID?

Then they could be more clear in their checklist and instruction guide about how many and what kind of IDs they require. Also the rest of the questions should be more than enough to verify if someone is living in Canada. Although I personally find some of the questions wording very confusing...

For post-C6 applicants who received AOR, did you use PR card as ID?

I guess you saw my post on returned application for missing ID! Still not sure if the problem was PRC or it was just a human error on their side! Regardless, it is very frustrating, as we wanted to make sure they get in front of the queue of all new applicants and now they will end up at the back :(

    Returned application - Missing ID

We sent under new rule and exactly same checklist as you mentioned. We sent all pages of passport (current and old) and both sides of PR. We did follow the instructions!
