    Kamali your credentials are good. Try Univ of Alberta or Calgary. And if you still plan to join MUN, you can start preparing to apply for Sept 2014 intake even with 12th result awaiting.

    With 2.8 GPA I think you should try Memorial University of Newfoudland. However, In my knowledge, for research based all you need is to convince a supervisor for yourself and to be honest, that's a really tough job.

    This change is going be a good break-through in an international student life as he will no more remain dependent on his parents/ sponsor for his minor expenses as used to be for the first 6-month duration. Let us all pray that it is implemented earliest by Jan'14 and latest by Sep'14 :D:D

    I have the same issue as well. Recieved offer letter from a Univ for Sep' 14 intake. I am planning to apply for my visa by 1st week of february'14 considering the fact that website says processing time from my country is 52 weeks. Any suggestions?
