IRCC plays this game whenever they have huge backlog , skip some days and proceed with later delivery days to show fake average waiting time , they did it last year with Citizenship application :( . it is all about luck at this point

Question , if someone updates physical address to be outside Canada , does that move the file to a different office ? ( maybe Ottawa ? ) any information or problem can happen ?

Few months ago when i renewed my card , what is shown to you is exactly what happened with me , in a week you should find new line about card mailed to you . please keep me updated when you receive your family cards , my wife application was received on Sep 30 so i am hoping to hear soon

For address issue , it can happen , simply send webform and ask to update address . Do you have travel history more than your family ?

Order notes from your file , might give you information where are you stuck

Do you know if your passport submission was uploaded to your file ? did you order notes recently ? trying to figure what is normal as I sent my passport in August and still not reflected in my file .

Thank you , I sent my passport scan like 10 minutes after I received the request . but from timelines i have seen , looks like they worked backward , I have seen another person got passport request on same day of august 17 , she sent it on Aug 31 and she already received decision made like 3...
