Docs have a separate procedure to conduct such test for Pregnant mothers and they did notify the NDVO regarding this expected change.

Thanks for the clarity on the process in such circumstances however i did inform NDVO both at the time of MR and at the time of baby birth, surprisingly i never got any revert on those notifications.

Yes you are right, we have already informed NDVO about my wife's pregnancy in Nov 2014 and submitted the MR accordingly.However i never received any communication from NDVO after MR. Today i got the PPR email, hope i am clear in answering your query.

I am not sure how true this is : A change in family composition invalidates your PPR. In the PPR letter they clearly mentioned that please notify NDVO immediately if there is any "Change in Circumstances" however they never mentioned that don't send over the PPS of the existing applicants...
