Out of curiosity, since I'm a Jan23 intake, will my application be pushed down to accommodate others? I've seen Jan23 intake people get their visas but if you're telling me they're going to go into overdrive to clear Sep intake peeps, will Jan intake people take a hit?

A lot of people from India, who applied between 20-30th of April via SDS, are getting their decisions. I also saw a few people, who applied in the first week of May, get their decisions. Not sure if they're SDS or not but I'm guessing this is a good sign?

I thought IRCC was still in sleep mode but the truth is, they're scaling their efforts by quite a bit. They've automated some stuff, got more staff on board, and have the Afghan and Ukraine refugees to cater to...it's a lot. Despite all this, they've begun going down to their service standards...

Not sure if this is a glitch, but the standard processing times have changed. I just saw that for a student permit applied from outside Canada, the waiting time is now 9 weeks. :D

My cousin, who applied via SDS on April 5th (and her biometrics on the 9th of April) got her PPR three days ago. Plus, following some Reddit and Youtube channels where people who applied between the 1st and 15th of April (in India) are receiving their decisions.

My timeline so far: SDS. India. Jan'23 intake. Upfront medical: 7th May File lodged: 27th May Biometrics done and processed: 1st June Since then, it's been radio silence. I still haven't seen my medical processed but since it's taking about 12 weeks for everyone to get their visa processed...
