Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

Yes you can. You will have to pay the fee you paid online. I would go fully prepared and keep in mind that for whatever reason they refuse your application you will be outside of Canada, and that’s a whole other story… if you are in no rush I would advise to just wait for the online application...

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’m in the same boat than you, and coincidentally HR emailed me today for the 100th time inquiring about my work permit, and it’s so awkward trying to explain our situation. It would be SO easy for IRCC to add an automated letter for every applicant...

Lol I paid for health insurance the whole time I was student and never used it, then I got sick during this process and I had to get travel insurance or pay $$$$ for a doctor. Back home (a so called third world country) we treat undocumented people for free lol

Sounds good, just wanted to clarify this. Thanks guys, I already requested it! I'm guessing this request will further delay my application, right?

It’s tough! Also my interviewers were recent landed immigrants… that changes things

Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

I did not mention it in the cover letter. I thought that explaining my situation during the interview will give me more chances of getting the job, and it worked!

Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

Although I agree with your point, it was actually the way around for me. The big company ghosted me after mentioning my status, and the local company made an effort to understand my status and are okay with waiting for the approval since the position needs a specific security clearance.
