    I would advise you to go with a test result that is valid. If it is the other way, IRCC most probably return your application. You can check about the same in the following link...

    I got my biometrics fee refunded back. This is completely normal. Inland applications received before Dec 3/2019 do not have to get their biometrics done as far as I know.
