I would advise you to go for it!

First of all, you have to contact the approved panel of physicians near you and take an appointment. They would definitely guide you through the whole medical process and the documents needed for the same.

I have seen it making a big difference. For example, in my case I did not receive any medical request yet! Some of the applicants who did upfront medicals are permanent residents now even though their AOR is after mine. I’m talking specifically about the inland applicants.

Ya, it means that your Permanent Residence status has been determined(according to the CIC website). You must be getting your COPR soon! Congratulations :)

Same for me too! I didn’t get any MR from CIC. I got really impatient after seeing many of the applicants who got AOR after me, getting their application approved who went for upfront medical. Thought I would do the same too!

Nothing shows in GCkey or ECAS for me. It has been only shown in GCMS notes like I mentioned before. For me too in GC key it shows that sep 16 2020, additional document received is being reviewed.

In my experience, I would say that the additional document must have been reviewed and approved. I had a similar situation and when I checked my GCMS notes, it said the ADR has been approved. Hope it would be the same for you too.

My advice would be just clarify it with the BCPNP or anyone else who had got their permanent residency through it. No need to worry. I f you have your TRF with you, just send it along with other documents! It is absolutely of no harm! All the very best.
