Haha. I believe this a an automated email and doesn’t indicate any progress. I checked both ecas and the new tracker after receiving this email and nothing changed. My prediction is some of us August folks will see background verification completed and perhaps fingercheck request in 2 months...

Yes I see the same in Ecas:-) Many folks say this ecas status will also change to in progress in about a month, and the status shown in the new tracker is always one step ahead of ecas. The next change we can expect is background verification complete, which should take place in 1-3 months...

Received the “Follow your application progress” email from IRCC today, one week after AOR.

AOR Aug 18. In progress Aug 19.

Paper application delivered Aug 15. AOR received August 18.

I am also in Calgary and my paper application was also delivered today :-)
