@paulvoyer I rescheduled my Citizenship Test and it took 3 extra months to reschedule my exam. I had to travel due to some unusually unavoidable circumstances. There are sometimes life events which you can't change or alter and you are left with no choice.
Thanks for a fantastic information! I live in Whitby at times, with my aunt as well, so I can go there if need be over a Friday night, get her signatures as a guarantor to apply and apply the next day.
Do you have address to the passport office there?
If ECAS is updated, you should be good to apply for your passport. Just For your satisfaction you can print a screen-shot of the ECAS and send it along with your passport application; I think it won't harm..
Are you a Toronto/Scarborough applicant as well? All the very best to you and goodluck in becoming a Canadian finally! Get your Passport application ready now!
I called the CIC today and they said most likely we should get Oath Ceremony by the end of Sep/ beginning of Oct and most likely in my case I should receive it by email, as I chose preferred method of communication by email.
All the very best to you too!
It has been 10 months since I applied for citizenship; so as per the CIC General timeline it should be within 1-2 months for Oath Ceremony. They said I should expect Oath Ceremony within 4-6 weeks, which falls within the timeline and looks like somewhere in Sep end.
No, no its abosolutely fine, I told you that you could have the pen, no issues, come on as humans if we can't do this much, it's a shame..hope to see you in the Oath as well, and hope we get the date for Sep!
