No question is silly dear! honestly speaking... there may be very less staff but not sure if all will be on holiday..except for few days like Xmas, new year... guess thats why they are trying to clear by updating medical and sending it to Delhi for finalizing...

Check tomorrow with your agent... may be today it got updated, I see today... 18th July first & then later 9th July got updated....May be urs as well

I am now worried for some of like us.. looks like they made a u-turn after reaching till 21st July... and going back.... 18...9 ... when will 22nd to 31st July will get medical updated....

Glad to know that many got there medical updated of 3rd Sep AIPs.. decisions on your files are made by Ottawa, now they will be moved to Delhi for finalizing and declaring results... hold on tight...

Oh yes, you can renew it, once you get the new passport, send the webform to amend the doc...

But your Study visa decision has no impact on Passport length only thing is they will provide the Student visa to length of your passport, and I think for Study permit, they will issue for full term.

If you are an Indian.. you can renew your passport under tatkal and provide the LOA of college as a reason... I also got my passport renewed as my program was 2 years and and passport was getting expired in 1 1/2 years... so they renewed it...and I got it in 5 days...

True bro! I have also seen it... That is pure hard luck... until he raises GCMS, it would be difficult to say whether he was rejected on Stage 1 or Stage 2... refusal reasons are standard...

Bro.. AIP is only valid for Fall intake.. IRCC clearly mentioned if you change anything in ur profile, they will review it as fresh/again... So AIP is not valid in his case as he deferred to Jan...although this is stupid decision by IRCC... but he can't challenge based on AIP...
